The Music
The Brewfest music was even better this year!
Our festival not only had all the best beers and food… the music was top notch this year too! We had 2 awesome bands providing great tunes & continuous music all afternoon.
The ”MILES BAND” returned to entertain us once again this year! With Peter Miles on guitar and vocals, drummer/singer Sean McLoughlin, Bassist/singer Tim Thrasher, Steve Sonntag on trumpet and John Scherer on sax this year’s performance was better than ever! With 3 very different stylistic vocalists with Miles, McLoughlin & Thrasher, the versatility makes this band very entertaining. Add into the mix one of the very best horn sections in New England with Sonntag & Scherer and it’s a no-brainer – these guys are exceptional and their performance at the Brewfest was no exception! They say variety is the spice of life – these guys are all about variety – they can play anything and are true professionals.
It was a treat to have them at the Brewfest again this year!

We hit the jackpot with this band! “R.T.M.” rocked the Brewfest with a healthy mix of blues and rock-n-roll. This will certainly not be the last Southern Vermont will see of R.T.M. – they definitely found a new fan base after their performance at the event and these Western Mass boys are looking forward to spending more time in the Green Mountain State. It was clear to Kelly Hall (Brewfest Entertainment) they were the right band for the event within the first few minutes of hearing them a few months ago. “When I first heard Mike’s voice, I started paying close attention to the band, watched how they interacted with the crowd that night and witnessed what great chemistry the band members had with each other. I knew Brattleboro would love this band and they’d be perfect for our Brewfest – and couldn’t have been more right.”
